CD-Release – Lombardini: Six String Quartets
Our recording is a tribute to Maddalena Laura Lombardini (1745–1818), the Venetian virtuoso violinist and pioneer of professional female soloists in the eighteenth century. Our aim is to lift her work out of the shadows of the male-dominated history of music.
A true musical rarity, played on historical string instruments from the eighteenth century, interpreted in the spirit of the twenty-first!
